Student Services & Development is primarily about building the social culture that will enable students to securely and safely participate and engage in the activities of the school. It is about creating an inclusive environment and enabling campus culture for students that enriches the students’ learning experience.

The STEM education of SWU PHINMA is a curriculum strongly-based on Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics designed to provide the students with tools to address issues of global importance. This is a direct response to the realization that our future will be built on our capacity for innovation, invention and creative problem solving.

Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities

Senior High School offers the following Strands and Tracks:

STEM Health, STEM General
ABM, HUMSS, GAS
Arts & Design Track (a specialized SHS program with focus on Graphic Design & Multimedia, in partnership with First Media Design School – Singapore)

It uses an Active Learning approach where there is less “teacher talk” and more on “student activity”. It prepares students to be independent learners who are ready to succeed in their chosen pathway-college, work and world of entrepreneurship.

It has organized different curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which aim to discover and hone students’ talents and skills.
It has monthly activities like Nutrition Month, Buwan ng Wika, Math and Science Month, Arts and Social Science Month, English Month and PE Days. The Senior High School Days is the highlight every year since it holds activities like academic competitions, cultural and sports events. These activities are celebrated with the help of the strong force of the SHS Student Body Organization and its strand clubs-STEM, HUMSS, ABM, and GAS Clubs and the other university-recognized organizations, The Math Guild and the Maroon Ink.

SWU PHINMA Professional Library

The Professional Library is located on the Ground Floor of the PHINMA Hall Building. It caters to Law, Graduate School, and School of Medicine students.

There is a separate collection of bookshelves intended for law and medicine users to make sure they get the resources they need. And facilities such as the silent room, periodicals section for those who wished to have a quiet place to study. Not only that, the library also provides academic electronic resources to give our users a variety of information that are freely accessible . Thus, cultivating their learning and supporting the institution’s goal to lead the students to success.
